Marlene Herzig

Research Assistant since July 2024

Marlene Herzig has been working as a research assistant at the Chair for US American Law since July 2024. She previously studied law at the University of Cologne and completed her studies in 2024 with the first state examination (Magister Iuris). During her final year of study, she already worked as a student assistant at the Chair for US American Law. As a CUSL graduate, Ms. Herzig is familiar with various organizational tasks related to the implementation of the certificate program. She is also responsible for various organizational tasks and book projects of the Environmental Law Center and is involved in managing the social media channels of the chair and the ELC. She is currently also completing an LLM in Energy and Climate Law at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen in a double degree program with the LLM program Energy and Environmental Law at George Washington University
