Business Law

This course aims to give students the necessary knowledge and vocabulary to function comfortably and efficiently in the international legal/business world.  Therefore, it will provide an overview of key aspects of U.S. business transactions, including business organizations, principles of agency, partnership, and corporations.  It will also provide an overview of various areas of business law (mergers and acquisitions, anti-trust, employment, etc.) providing a comprehensive overview of the structure, law and terminology used in each area.

The course and all exercises will be conducted in English. Though particular effort will be made to make the materials presented as understandable to non-native speakers as possible, students should still have a good understanding of both written and spoken English.  Highly motivated students who plan on regular attendance and participation are very much desired.
